Hammer and Nail has extensive experience with installing hardwood floors and decking in homes and commercial locations for customers seeking shear elegance in craftsmanship and performance.
With extensive knowledge in Jarrah, IPE and Iron Bark wood species, Arthur Murray school of dance in Sydney recently commissioned Hammer & Nail to construct Australia’s largest dance floor in January 2009. Springiness and flexibility was achieved using strips of rubber on the battens.
The combination of secret nailing and gluing the flooring to battens achieves the necessary maximum strength when subjected to future swelling and shrinkage.
